Synopsis
In the remote, drought-prone region of Northern Kenya, a group of pastoralist women navigate the opportunities and challenges of a massive oil discovery. There is a promise of jobs and reliable access to water, but for these women, the promises do not materialize. Instead, they come to realize the complicated web that is preventing a better future for them and their children: greed, corrupt politics, and the patriarchal fabric of their world.
